A sole trader registers in CEIDG, while a limited liability company, known as a spółka z o.o., registers in KRS.

• Lawful stay alone does not give every foreign national the right to register as a sole trader in CEIDG.
• KRS company registration is carried out online through PRS or S24, depending on the company and registration route.
• Company registration alone does not grant a residence permit or permission to perform every kind of work in that company.
