About this service

A registered invitation provides evidence of funds for a visitor's stay in Poland and their return or permitted onward journey. This includes accommodation and food.

The eligible host applies to the voivode responsible for the host's place of residence or registered seat.

An invitation is not a visa or a residence document and does not itself authorise entry, Schengen travel or work.

  • An invitation is not required for every visa application if the applicant can provide other evidence of the necessary funds.
